Dustin Zahn interview and mix for Livesets.com
I just did an interview and a DJ mix for Livesets.com in Holland, check it out here. It's just me running my damned mouth like usual. The mix is okay too! A bit more on the hard techno side of things, which is a refreshing change from all the mnml techno. In a week or two I will put the link up for download, so you can blast my shit on the bus!
P.S. I'd like to say thanks to Kate Manus as well as the rest of the LS crew! Lots of good music and good people going on over there, and they were great to work with when I was in Holland last time.
P.P.S. Here's the first installment of Enemy Records "Did you know...?"
Did you know: The original title for Zahn's "The Need for Faith" was originally titled "Lawyers, Silicone, and Coke...the Story of Soundbar, Chicago" and due out on a prominent German label until Zahn pulled the plug on "Ze Germans?"
Did you know: Dustin was originally going to start Enemy Records in 2003 as a minimal and tech house label, but after discussions with the distributors, they agreed it was label suicide! Hah, we were fucking idiots! ¶ Sunday, January 28, 2007
