All Kinds of Heavy…for the season closer at the TRXX WRHS, we’re celebrating Enemy’s 20th year with the U.S. debut from France’s Blenk, whose new single is currently crushing it all over the planet. Coming off a blistering Great Beyond performance, Mike Parker, who released Pendular Vibration (Enemy, 2011) is finally making his first proper Minneapolis debut. Zahn returns to the warehouse for an extended set at peak time…his first in that time slot since Goodnight Daylight in 2019. Intellephunk and TGB’s Centrific also rounds out the bill. He has previously remixed tracks on Enemy from Psyk and Decimal.

ENEMY RECORDS: 20 YEARS LATER

Dustin Zahn’s Enemy Records is currently in the middle of celebrating it’s 20th year in existence. The label originated in Minneapolis before shifting to Berlin a little over a decade ago. Since 2004, Enemy Records has served as a hotbed for upcoming Techno producers and visionaries.

Through Zahn’s careful A&R process, the label has been responsible for releasing a number of the earliest (and often times debut) EPs from artists such as DVS1, Truncate, Rene Wise, Marcal, Blenk, Psyk, Nastia Reigel, Regal, Boston 168, Emmanuel, Z.I.P.P.O, Flug, and more. This foresight also extended to remixes and appearances from the likes of Donato Dozzy, Rrose, Mike Parker, Vril, and others during their ascent.

Currently, the label has released more than 80 records over its 20 year lifespan. 2025 will include new EPs from Blenk, Rene Wise, Marcal, Decoder, and Zahn himself. Expect additional drop-ins from exciting upcoming talent like Viels, K.U.S.S., and Slone. Enemy will also be repressing DVS1’s “Flight to Nowhere” later this year, along with Marcal’s “Manta Ray” finally getting the vinyl pressing it deserves.

On the party front, Enemy is aiming for two 20 year celebrations in Minneapolis, because fuck it…why not? The Enemy pirate ship sails on to Detroit for the Meta Ta Physika party in May, and The Great Beyond in July. Additionally…other promoters are threatening to book some Enemy showcases later this year, all dependent of course, on the price of eggs.
