Enemy is back with its’ first v.a. record in 5 years! As always, the label delivers with some of the newest and most exciting names in Techno music. The theme is as simple as the title: a variety of moody, hypnotic club tracks set perfectly for any of vibe of the night.
Z.I.P.P.O returns to Enemy after last year’s debut EP. Since then, he started his own label Fides which has been played by more reputable DJs than we can count (in fairness, Zahn can’t count that high). La Fuite may be the most house-leaning track in his discography so far. It still manages to maintain the techno backbone and his warm, signature sound.
Yotam Avni finally makes his debut on Enemy with Yeezianity. Not only has Dustin been playing it for the better part of a year…the track is also played regularly by Dixon and Ame (including a play on their recent Essential Mix). With recent hits on labels like Innervisions, Stroboscopic Artefacts, Rebirth, and Ovum, it’s apparent you’ll hear plenty of more from Yotam very soon.
Abstract Division is completely in the zone with Emotives. It’s tracky and to the point…perfect for the heads-down DJs! Earlier this year, the duo released the 2xEP “Contemporary Places” along with two big remix packages. We’re very happy to finally have them on Enemy.
Observer joins us for his Enemy debut, straight from Minneapolis. Lifeforms is the perfect trippy, modulating track that continues to evolve during its’ entire length. If the crowd’s eyes weren’t popping out of their heads already…this should do the trick!
